IS FREEDOM POSSIBLE?
More resources are being directed toward recovery than ever before, but it doesn't seem to help. Why? Doesn't God's word tell us, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free..." (Galatians 5:1)? What's missing? The key to recovery is to understand your identity in Christ and receive your freedom from sin as a result of what Christ did on the cross. You have got to want to be FREE more than anything else.
My name is John Smith and I grew up in a christian home as both parents at one point were Ministers of the Gospel. More than anything I wanted my life to count for God. But no matter what I did I felt like a failure, I wandered away and got out with the wrong crowd and I soon found myself hopelessly addicted to alcohol and drugs. I attended hundreds of A. A.& N.A meetings and had several different sponsors. I went to counselors, psychiatrists, many many treatment centers, psychologists (Christian and secular). I tried all the Christian disciplines I heard about. I was in a 12 Step group, Nothing I tried helped. I believed I was a drug addict and an alcoholic, a failure and a sinner.
Finally after many many years and almost near deaths door I learned the transforming truth that I was really a child of God who was in Christ and that Christ had done everything necessary for me to walk in freedom. All I had to do was want it and accept it and it was mine. Then I experienced the truth that, "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36) Now I try to help others to experience the peace, freedom, joy and victory that is their rightful inheritance as children of God. I want you to know you Can Run But You Cannot Hide From God. Please take your time as you go through this website and read my testimony and if you are bound by addiction and looking to be set free I want you to know that it is yours for the asking. All you got to do is want it more than life itself and BELIEVE.
Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
